Our Stay at Two Guns KOA

Posted in Exploring the Abandoned, Our Travels on May 10, 2017 Last Updated on July 24, 2018

We do not usually stay at RV parks, and have never previously stayed at a KOA before. When read about the Two Guns Ghost Town, and saw there was an RV park nearby we could stay at, we knew we couldn’t pass up the chance.

Upon entering the park, you pass by the two concrete pillars, which have Two Guns themed and other artistic paintings on them.

After the pillars, you arrive at the main office building, which can also be seen from the road.

The second floor required a little bit of a climb, so we only have phone pictures.

Next to the main office, is the pool area. While it is not the largest of pools, it does prove to be suitable for its purposes, and was enjoyable to use.

On the main loop, near the middle of the campground, is where the maintenance building is located. It appears to be fairly unused at this point, and no employees seemed to mind us poking around in it.

The park never really was crowded during our stay and, as you can see, the lots are pretty spacious.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Two Guns KOA. While we’ll probably never stay at another KOA, we may return to this one.
